Acceptable Usage of Computers in the Library

At Leanne's Little Library we have 4 computers available

 for use as well as free Wi-Fi for you own devices. Please 

read and comply with these standards of use.

1) Access to the internet: The internet has all manner of indecent, illegal and inaccurate material. Leanne's Little Library has no control or responsibility of what is viewed. You may not view anything illegal or inappropriate on our computers or from your own devices when connected to our Wi-Fi network. Anyone 12 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult whilst on our computers.

2) Assistance on the computer: Library staff can assist with logging on to our computers or Wi-Fi network and opening of Microsoft Office applications and internet search engines. Further or more in depth help with matters on websites are not the responsibility of library assistants. Further help is dependent on the library assistants time and knowledge. 

3) Propper use of hardware: Computer, printer, monitor, keyboard and mouse are to be used with care for their intended purpose only. Please do not unplug anything without asking for assistance. Any damages can be charged for.

4) Time: You are welcome to one hour and longer if there is no one waiting for a computer. Bookings can be made on our website. 

5) Cost and charges: Computer use and scanning to email are free! Printing is at a cost, A4 pages are 20 cents per a side for black and white and $1.00 a side for colour printing. A3 is 40 cents per a side for black and white and $2.00 a side for colour printing.
